The South East Asia earthquake and tsunami struck on 26 December 2004, affected 11 countries, killed more than 225,000 people and displaced an estimated 1.2 millions.
On 27 March 2005, Liverpool Former Players Association organized a fundraiser benefit match at Anfield Stadium through the charity Tsunami Soccer Aid. The match was played between Liverpool Legends and Celebrities XI with a match result of 6-2. |

For the Liverpool Legends' side, two goalkeepers were named - Bruce Grobbelaar and Sander Westerveld.
Bruce Grobbelaar played in the first half and wore a dark green goalkeeper shirt. Sander Westerveld played in the second half and wore a light grey goalkeeper shirt. |

- This light-blue colour goalkeeper player shirt was a match supplied unworn spare shirt of Sander Westerveld. |

Although the match photo shows that Sander Westerveld's match worn goalkeeper shirt was grey in colour, actually there were totally two kits produced for him. His unworn spare kit was light blue in colour (like the one Paul Harrison wore for the Celebrities XI), and the only piece autographed by him.
