2011-2012 Home Premier League "Poppy Match" Player Shirt
Since season 2009-2010, Liverpool participated in the Royal British Legion annual event of commemorating the Remembrance Day. In season 2009-2010, Liverpool didn't don any poppy logo on the shirt which amassed quite some criticism. In season 2010-2011, Liverpool's third shirt worn on 21 November 2010 against Stoke City donned with embroidered poppy on the chest of the shirts.
In season 2011-2012, Liverpool F.C. chose to commemorate the Remembrance Day in the Premier League home fixture on 5 November 2011 against Swansea City. This season, the shirt donned with heat-pressed poppy instead.

News released on 5 December 2011 at the official website, that all the match worn shirts of the Poppy Appeal match day were donated to Royal British Legion, and were put into online auction at ebay.
The websmaster was lucky enough in winning one of the Royal British Legion's ebay auction. The postpack of the poppy match shirt arrived bears the stamp of Royal British Legion too.

Unlike the 2010-2011 third poppy match shirts donned with embroidered poppy, the 2011-2012 home poppy match shirts are donned with heat-pressed poppy.
The match worn shirt is fully autographed by the Liverpool F.C. squad, and comes with a club issued certificate of authenticity.
The 2011 poppy match worn shirt is fully autographed in the front. Even skipper Steven Gerrard who didn't play in this match (due to his injury) also signed on it.
